Additionally, beef prices can fluctuate due to factors such as rising livestock feed costs, which further impact production expenses.

Yes, all of our Big Chief meat snacks are gluten-free!
Our Big Chief meat snacks do not contain eggs, milk, mustard, peanuts, crustaceans, molluscs, fish, sesame seeds, sulphites, tree nuts, wheat, or triticale. However, they do contain soy. For additional details, please refer to the “Ingredients” section under each product on our Products Page.
Storing Big Chief Meat Snacks
Big Chief meat snacks are made to stay fresh wherever the road takes you.
Our smaller packs (12g, 20g, 30g, and 50g) are vacuum-sealed to lock in flavour and keep them shelf-stable at room temperature.
Our larger sizes (80g and 120g) come in resealable, modified-atmosphere bags that help maintain freshness once opened. Store all Big Chief snacks sealed, at room temperature, and out of direct sunlight.
Each package is stamped with a “use by” date to ensure you experience the best flavour and freshness. Once opened, please reseal the package and consume the contents within 3 days for optimal quality.
We do not recommend freezing our meat snacks, as they remain fresh at room temperature until the “use by” date when in the original packaging, unopened. If you choose to freeze them, be sure to defrost them to room temperature before consumption, following safe defrosting methods as outlined by the CFIA.
If you receive a product with damaged packaging, please do not consume it. Instead, contact Big Chief with the product details, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
