Terms & Conditions — Big Chief Meat Snacks

Welcome to Big Chief Meat Snacks (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website https://bigchiefmeatsnacks.com/ (the “Site”) and your purchase of any products sold through it.

By accessing or purchasing from the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. General Information

This Site is owned and operated by Big Chief Meat Snacks, a Canadian business.
We sell food products intended for purchase and consumption within Canada.

We may update these Terms at any time, and the “Last Updated” date above will reflect changes.

2. Online Store Terms

By using our Site, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, OR
  • You have parental/guardian permission to purchase

You may not use our Site or products for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

3. Products and Availability

We make every effort to present accurate product descriptions, ingredients, images, pricing, and stock availability. However:

  • Product availability is not guaranteed
  • Prices may change without notice
  • Packaging and colours may vary
  • We reserve the right to discontinue products

We may refuse or cancel orders that appear fraudulent or suspicious.

4. Orders and Payment

All purchases are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card information.

By placing an order, you agree to provide:

  • Accurate personal and contact information
  • A valid shipping address
  • A valid payment method

We may cancel or refuse orders at our discretion, including orders flagged during routine security checks for your protection.

5. Shipping Policy

Big Chief ships all Canadian orders using UPS or Canada Post Expedited Shipping.
 Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order.

Shipping Within Canada Only

We currently do not export outside of Canada.

Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times shown at checkout are not guaranteed. Weather, carrier delays, or other factors outside our control may affect delivery.

Risk of Loss

Once an order is shipped and handed to the carrier, risk of loss transfers to the customer.

6. Order Processing, Cancellations & Tracking

Order Processing

Orders are processed in the order received. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships.

Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order any time before it ships by contacting:

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

Shipping Confirmation

A tracking number will be emailed to you. Customers are responsible for tracking their delivery through the carrier’s website.

7. Returned Shipments

If your order is returned to Big Chief as unclaimed, you will be refunded the product total minus a $5 restocking fee.

Please note:

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable
  • We will contact you if a shipment is returned to us

8. Accuracy of Billing & Account Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information for all purchases and account registrations.

We may update or correct information, refuse service, or cancel orders if inaccurate or fraudulent activity is suspected.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site—including product descriptions, text, images, logos, graphics, layout, and design—is the property of Big Chief Beef Jerky unless otherwise stated.

You may not:

  • Copy
  • Reproduce
  • Distribute
  • Modify
  • Sell

any Site content without written permission.

10. Third-Party Services

We rely on reputable third-party providers, such as:

  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Constellix.com (hosting & DNS)
  • Google Analytics
  • UPS & Canada Post (shipping carriers)

These parties have their own policies and terms. We are not responsible for their actions, service availability, or errors.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Canadian law, Big Chief Beef Jerky is not liable for:

  • Damages arising from use or misuse of our products
  • Shipping delays or carrier errors
  • Incorrect addresses provided by customers
  • Losses caused by third-party services
  • Errors or omissions on the Site

Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

12. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Site to:

  • Violate any laws
  • Commit fraud
  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Transmit malware or harmful code
  • Disrupt the website
  • Infringe intellectual property rights

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
